Threatened African Grey Parrots returned to the wild after three-year intercontinental odyssey

Seventeen lucky birds return home to the wild thanks to the tireless efforts of many people around the world. The noted conservationist Jane Goodall released the birds into a protected area in Lake Victoria early in July.
